Website Design Portfolio
|
On this page you will find two sections:
first-time sites we designed for people who
never had a site before, and website makeovers
for people who had an old site that needed a facelift (you'll see "before" and
"after" photos of the sites below).
Karen Ann Quinlan
Hospice and Foundation site
http://www.karenannquinlanhospice.org/

Includes: 78
pages, Flash banner, Flash advertising, site search bar, SEO work
Backstory: When
Karen Ann Quinlan died in 1985, her parents started a non-profit foundation
offering hospice, bereavement and home health care in her honor. Roxanne, the
marketing director for The Karen Ann Quinlan Foundation approached us to create
their first website to reflect their corporate colors and logo, in a clean,
simple, easily-navigated design to highlight their three areas of service. We
were strongly aware that most people who use this site are grieving and needed a
gentle site that provides information in an easy-to use format. The Karen Ann
Quinlan Foundation also has many charitable events and donors each year to raise
funds for their Foundation, so they needed a site that would support both their
clients and their donors.
ALS Biopharma, LLC
http://www.alsbiopharma.com

Includes: 5
pages, using existing logo and corporate colors
Backstory: ALS
Biopharma is an emerging biotechnology company dedicated to the discovery of
small-molecule therapeutics and diagnostics for the treatment of the
debilitating neurological orphan indication of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis
(ALS, Lou Gehrig’s disease). They approached us for a small, professional
website to give them a web-presence and allow them to share their discoveries
with the world.
The Michelangelo
Method Book Launch site
http://www.michelangelomethod.com/

Includes: 20
pages, subscription signup box, Flash banner
Backstory: Ron
and Ken asked us to create a site for the launching of their new book, The
Michelangelo Method. As newly published authors it was important for them to
have a site that readers could interact with, building brand loyalty and
allowing Ron and Ken to serve their public. They also needed a Media Room where
news reporters could learn more about Ron and Ken and their new book.
Michele O'Shea site
http://www.coachoshea.com/

Includes: 10
pages, custom testimonial graphics, contact form
Backstory:
Michele had been inspired by an oil painting of a bridge, which represented to
her what coaching could do for people. Michele asked us to create a site around
a bridge theme, mirroring the bridge curves throughout the site.
Passion For
Business Learning site
http://www.passionforbusinesslearning.com/

Includes: 67
pages, shopping cart, course calendar, membership site, SEO work
Backstory: When
we decided to start a small business school for self-employed people, we wanted
a sister site to the main Passion For Business site that had the same strong,
vibrant corporate colors, but a fresher look and feel. The new site also needed
to allow students to register for classes via an online shopping cart, and login
to a private "students only" section where they could download their course
materials.
24 Karat Designs
Calligraphy Studio site
http://www.24karatdesigns.com

Includes: 96
pages, shopping cart, course calendar, artist's portfolio, SEO work
Backstory:
Kathy asked us to create a calligraphy site for three audiences: her wedding
calligraphy clients, her business calligraphy clients, and her calligraphy
students. Because her clients are from all over the USA, she needed a strong
brand and image for her site to reflect her craftsmanship and professionalism,
as well as strong SEO work to rank high in the search engines, and an online
shopping cart so clients and students could pay online. Plus, she needed an
online portfolio of her calligraphy work that would show the breadth of the work
she does (she has 30 years' experience as a calligrapher) as well as larger
versions of each item in her portfolio so that clients could see the detail.
Finally, Kathy wanted a classy, sophisticated and artistic site to reflect her
personality.

17 pages, newsletter signup form, class calendar, FAQ, logo design, blog
Backstory:
Helga, the owner of The Gestalt Institute of Rhode Island, asked us for
a major site makeover: combine three sites into one and give it a
branding facelift. Much website planning work went into this site
redesign, including copywriting and editing, new colors, new logo, new
graphics and a major navigation structure change. |

Susan Klein
site
http://www.successtechnologiesinc.com/
Includes:
9 pages, signup forms for free offers, FAQ
Backstory:
Susan approached us to re-design her website and provided us with the
logo she wanted to use. She needed a clean, simple, bold, and
professional site that was easy to navigate, highlighted her coaching,
programs and product offerings, and incorporated her corporate colors
and logo. |

Val Heart
site
http://www.valheart.com/
Includes:
163 pages, newsletter signup forms, audio, blog, shopping cart, FAQ,
logo design, Adobe Contribute. We also did SEO work with Val.
Backstory:
Val approached us for a large site re-design (over 160 pages), and a
re-branding including a new logo design. Val also wanted streaming audio
on her site, and wanted a site her assistant could update easily.
Because the site was so large, a sophisticated navigation/menu system
was designed to help site visitors find their way around the site.
