Hi Karyn,
What a great video response to a reader’s question! I really appreciate the time you took to put together this video. The information you provided is exactly on the mark. If you want people to remember your domain name step 1 should be to make it memorable! The shorter the better, but at the same time if the domain name is too short then it will leave your readers or customers lost as well. If your domain does not describe or hint at what the site has to offer then you could be losing a lot of valuable traffic.
I am looking forward to next Tuesday’s video answering questions!

The bigger question is “Should I name my business after myself, or what I do for customers?” Peter Montoya would say, “Name it after yourself,” but I can see real benefit in naming your business based on the problem you solve or the dream you fulfill.

Hi Karyn,
Enjoyed your clip. I personally always want a domain name that says what I do or what my clients do. I think it’s even better when the domain name has some key words in it. But that’s just me.
I’ll be on the lookout for more of your videos. I love them as they are short and to the point.
Warmly,
Sharon
