Is it just me, or is anyone else feeling the need to connect face-to-face with humans again? Not that I have anything against online social media, but I miss people!

Great article, Karyn. Authenticity is SO critical … and we are more than what we do for a living or the job title we hold. It is always the emotional connection that creates strong relationships and attracts clients that are a great fit with who we are and how we are wired.

I’m thinking that an “office cat” is a deduction, don’t you think so?

I agree on the lunch thing. I try to have lunch with a business colleague at least once or twice a month. I get tired of talking on the phone and emailing with people! Seeing someone face-to-face is a real treat.

You bet. We need to know we’re dealing with real people, not some kind of bot, particularly in the online world.

One of the reasons I like to have lunch with people, especially you, is that, aside from getting to eat,:-) I get that very important human to human connection.

We’re all people first, business owners second, or third.

BTW- Does that make cat food a business deduction?
