Which Computer Manufacturers Offer The Best Tech Support?

With all the complaints I hear about computer manufacturers’ technical support, it’s interesting that Consumer Reports has now done an independent study of the quality of tech support. You can read the short online article here.

    Hi Karyn ~ Contrats on the new blog!

    Getting good hardware support is one thing, but getting good software support is something else entirely! So whenever I need help with FrontPage, QuickBooks, etc. – even Blogger – I do my research via google, product forums, available FAQs, and asking around.

    A little leg-work usually helps, but it’d sure be nice if all these programs just worked the way I imagine they should!

    Hey, beezee, I agree completely!

    Since most software isn’t particularly intuitive, I find one of the best resources to be message boards (forums) where people are brainstorming with each other to find the best solution using the software at hand.
