Learn techniques that boost your teaching skills in a teleseminar, webinar or streaming video environment, overcoming the barriers of distance learning and creating interactive and supportive environments for your students.

You Will Learn
In this 6-week teleseminar, you will learn about:
- Handling the first few minutes of your teleseminar or webinar, the springboard to any successful distance learning
- Increasing interactivity, engagement and learning
- Creating rapport with students when you can't see their faces
- Using your voice to get the message across
- Resolving the common mistakes the distance learning instructors make
- Keeping momentum and energy high
- Dealing with difficult situations that can undermine your class success
- Determining which technology platform is best for you, your audience and your material
Special note: this class does not cover how to use specific teleconference or webinar technology. Most teleconference and webinar platform providers have their own tutorials for using their individual systems.

Length of Workshop
This teleclass meets one hour each week, for six weeks.
All teleclasses are 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM eastern.
Format
This workshop is offered via live video conference (Zoom) format with me.
Virtual video workshops are convenient and practical, where you can interact with me and the other participants. They are a great way to learn, because you can learn from the convenience of your home or office.
The live virtual workshop sessions will be recorded, so if you miss a session, you will be able to download the audio & video recording of the class and listen to it at your leisure. Class recordings are generally made available within 48 hours of the live class session date.
